There is always something blooming. I found things a little tired in September but I heard they were recovering from a storm. There is a great view of the valley from up there and we enjoyed some relief from the record heat they were experiencing. I had been here 27 years ago and things seemed more vibrant then. It is still a nice way to spend an hour or two.

Is there public transportation between Lahaina and the kula botanical garden? Is so what is it and what is the cost?

If you can get there, they sell "home" grown coffee beans, that are excellent. We brought a pound home and ordered four more to enjoy.
