Thanks for the reveiws, I have a special needs kiddo and need the quick way to ge to the boulder fields, then how to get to a picnic area that is shaded for lunch. Please advise for driving and parking. Is there also some water activities for the teenagers? Many thanks! MS Allentown

you can drive right to Boulder Field .. park and walk down a very short, level path to the edge of boulder field and have a look (its awesome!) there is no need to climb on the rocks to enjoy …
you can drive right to Boulder Field .. park and walk down a very short, level path to the edge of boulder field and have a look (its awesome!) there is no need to climb on the rocks to enjoy this area - if you are so inclined, there is a trail around the rock field to see it from different angles - (my opinion here...) it looks pretty much the same everywhere so no need to do that trail unless you want to walk around a bit --- Hickory Run Park has many areas for picnicking-- drive around until you see what you like-- many places are easily accessible to all....Enjoy!
