I think it's Merced River, but I'm not sure 100%.

According to everything I read, Bridalveil flows all year unlike the other waterfalls in the park. The best time is spring and early summer, but I think it will still be flowing for your trip.

Yosemite falls is a good walk, you can park in the little village and it's about a 30 minute walk each way. it's not too hilly and is pleasant!
