I am pretty sure that you cannot ride your bicycle on the pedestrian paths but there are plenty of areas around the park itself where I think you can ride. Just not on the actual path around the lake itself. I hope that helps.
How can I find out what events are on during Christmas? Is the park within walking distance of the Hampton Inn?

There will be no events this year due to the renovations. You can walk from the hotel, and enjoy a place to sit at the park. There is also a Cracker Barrel within walking distance to hotel.
