Well maintained trails. Interesting visitor center with clean bathrooms. Check in and out before you hike. Get there 90 minutes before the sanctuary closes, so you can take your time exploring. T…Full review by Amarie B

Nice quiet walk on the trails. The park is well maintained. They have a nice little museum area to learn more about the animals and plants in the area.Full review by Connie P

I would like to visit with my sister. My brother in law has dementia and cannot walk very much. Is there a safe place near a building where he might sit and wait while we take a short walk on a trail. It would do my sister a world of good to have a wee hike in a beautiful place. Thank you!!!

Yes, there are picnic benches near the visitor center building, as well as chairs In a screened building. The educational room inside the visitor center are possible, too.

No alligators there. There is a small frog pond and a canal that flows through, but no alligators.
