Can anyone tell me how far the Cinnamon Hill House is from the main house? As a single woman traveller I am a bit nervous of staying there if it is isolated, away from the Main House. Would I have to walk there on my own in the dark, and is it far? Would the Gatehouse room be better? Or the Gallery room in the main house?

Ideally stay at the gate house if you feel you be isolated, given the garden is huge and always isolation is there.

Yes you can visit as a solo tourist. there is a guided tour of the buildings and landscapes. there is an entrance fee. I'm not quite sure how much they would charge a foreigner ??? ( its about Rs.1500/= for locals)rates may vary so check with them in advance. if you have reserved a suite then meals are available. May not be available if you are just in for a visit . finding the place with Google maps is a bit tricky.
