Is it convenient for an elderly to walk to the castle or there is a shuttle bus to bring us from the tram stop?

It's a couple minutes of hiking/steep walking even if you parked as close to the castle as possible. We had to climb a couple set of stone stairs (around 5 or 6 steps each).
Is it suggested to come to this place in winter? And, how to get here from Wilhelmshohe train station?

Hello, I was here in November, there wasn't any snow. It is a large, large park with many interesting sites. There is a lot to see here. Hercules, waterkunst & Wilhelmshole castle as well. The Lōwenberg was under construction when I was there. And you could only go through with a tour, last tour I believe the last tour in English was at 4 PM when I was there? I be I believe it was Streetcar # 1 from Wilhelmschole Hauptbahnhof that took us there. But check with your hotel, they are usually very friendly generally from my experience. Have fun, I found the main walking street and the natural history museum interesting as well while I was there.
