First time there despite living just a few hours away. Great selection, variety of shops and restaurants, easily walkable, go in the fall when temperatures are more tolerable though.Full review by newyorknick

Umm, that is not easy to answer as the shops have differing opening hours from 9am to 6pm. You not find big name shops our outlets here, all owner owned and have great range of goods you won't normally find. What is best is the historical bulidings dating back to 1844. I would recommend spending at least 4-6 hours there browsing and talkig to the local people, all we found were friendly. One shop I would recommend if you like fudge is Chocolate Moonshine 520 S Main St #207, Grapevine, TX 76051, but they don't open until midday. If you do buy tell the lady owner that the american fudge makers ass recommended her. Enjoy your day there

If you go to the Historical District, be prepared to park and walk, or go early enough to get a parking spot on Main Street. Curbside parking is hard to get, but there are free parking lots behind many of the businesses, as well as by the train depot. Many of the shops like the glassblower and blacksmith, are closed on Sunday, so do check websites. It is a very quaint town and full of small shops and places to eat.
