Spent some time on the beach. The weather was great, the beach was clean, and the water was cold! Took paddleboards out for a bit and enjoyed the views. Full review by Jenni4martin

I cannot give you any information regarding RV parks but can recommend that you do it on the way back if you are returning to San Fran. Or not at all. The total fire destruction and devastation of the town of Paradise to the north and the weather/wind patterns this time of year are causing terrible smoke in the SF area, all the way up to and over the mountains right now It is the worst air quality in the whole WORLD. They are handing out masks. Check the news and internet. More than 50,000 people have been evacuated, over a thousand still missing. The fire moved at the rate of three (3) football fields per SECOND. Many did not get out. About 80 deaths so far and going up rapidly every day after they find the bodies. The whole town of 30,000 is gone as well as surrounding areas. If you don't have firm reservations anywhere in California or Nevada, don't come any time soon. They don't even think the fire will be contained until Nov. 30th. Any parks and empty rooms, motels etc., Walmart lots, anything, will be filled up by evacuees for a long time to come. I live 8 miles, as the crow flies, just over the mountains from south Lake Tahoe, in Nevada. We have some smoke here too and evacuees. I don't want to be rude/unpleasant but you really need to think about going somewhere else. Sorry.
