Wow ! This is not to be missed. We spent 3 hours in the Cite du Train and Im sure We could he stayed longer. Friendly staff and a great boutique... Full review by Tony W

Hi John. Plenty of trains from BASEL to Mulhouse including Lyria TGVs on some services. Local trains hourly in the morning for a 30 minute ride. 2 nd class about 20 chf return.

If your visiting with a mild interest in locomotives then you could do it in 2 hours but it would be a bit of a rush. It's big! I'm guessing in March there won't be too many people so it will be nice and easy to see everything on offer.

We went to train museum first, came back to town for lunch and did car museum in the afternoon. Hope this helps..
