The moment you descend into the crater in a safari vehicle, you are immediately immersed in the wild world of African nature. Ngorongoro impresses from the very first minutes. Just a few hours of dri…Full review by yuriybogorodskiy

We visited the Ngorongoro Crater in March, 2025, with Ajabu Adventures. It was a fantastic trip! I had read reviews about the Crater being too crowded, but we didn't experience that at all. Plenty of…Full review by Paivi R

I am looking to travel to ngorogoro crater next year (Covid permitting) with my entire family there will be 15 of us including many toddlers. Are there any lodges or activities that anyone recommends. I would like somewhere with a pool preferably and a large house or a few smaller units are great, the key is a family friendly property. Thank you in advance.

Hello Greg, lodging in Karatu is a very good option. It's only a short time to drive to the park and much more less expensive than staying in a lodge into the park. In Karatu we had a good stay in Tanzanicelodge. There is a pool and manu rooms. You can take B&B or full pension with a big lunch box to take inside the crater. You need to have transport to go in the National Parks. If you rent by your self a strong 4x4, bear in mind that they must be OK to enter the Crater. Or you can let organise it by the lodge. You can also rent 4x4 with driver/guide. If you are with a group, maybe you can look for a 4x4 bus, because you pay to go down a cost pro vehicle (also the cost pro person). So if you go with 1 car, it's much more cheaper than rent 2 or 3 cars have a great time Lou
