Ho'omaluhia Botanical Gardens is tucked in a residential neighborhood. You can take a taxi or Uber or Lyft or TheBus (~a mile walk uphill from the nearest bus stop to the entrance). "Must-see" breath-taking view of the Koolau mountain range from the entrance and awesome view of Olomana, etc from a hill-point pass the Visitors Center. There's also a nice path w/ various plants & flowers from the Center to the lake. ENJOY your stroll/hike thru the Gardens. ALOHA!
