Huge conservation area with so much to see for birdies. Pack a lunch and wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen. We had such an enjoyable day there. Full review by Jodie M
My wife uses an Electric Service Vehicle to get around -- completely unable to walk. Will she be able to accompany me on the birding trail and/or other trails through the park? We plan to visit in February 2018.

Visitors that are disabled are allowed to use personal motorized wheelchairs on the berm roads. These roads are shell rod base and fairly hard packed. If we are getting a lot of rain, they can and do get very muddy. But with the dry weather we are having now (Spring, 2017) the road/berms are in good shape. We also have tram tours provided by our volunteers on Friday's and Saturday's from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. This information provided by Mark Sees, Orlando Wetlands Park.

Cart tours run on Fridays and Saturdays. (All year round now) I would call if you're a big group so they can plan for extra staff. They large cart can hold up to 14. They leave about every hour from the Education center. The tour is free, but donations are appreciated.
