We took a day trip to Peterborough and Riverview was the highlight for the kids. They spent hours on the playground, in the zoo, and at the splash pad. The train looked fun but the line was too long.…Full review by T9222TTchristiank

It is free to enter the zoo and the splash pad. We did not ride the train when we were there, so I am I sure of that.

I have taken friends from all over the world and they are fascinated., Be sure to watch the video at the Liftlock museum close to the highest hydraulic liftlock in the world.

Hi no pets are not allowed at the zoo as dogs might bark at animals or people and lots of children there so with any pet and children there is always an element of unpredictability.
