We bought our tickets from a vendor at a kiosk along the river. He was wearing attire with the company logo on it (at least it made us feel better). There were a variety of boat vendors in the area. The price was firm. Your options are to go with the dinner cruise, on a larger vessel, or the non-meal plan on a smaller boat. The latter being cheaper. You pick the sail time when you buy your ticket. Enjoy.

No the ticket office is at Pier 5 near the Czech Bridge; not the Charles Bridge. Čech Bridge 110 00 Prague 1, Czechia

You need to prebook I think. We had to anyway. We booked online and picked tickets up from the office in the quay side.
