For hotel guests staying at the Godolphin, the hotel has bays in the short stay carpark - note this is NOT for just diners, just overnight rooms - and the car registration can be given at reception for use of their bays.

Congratulations for escaping a ticket - unlike many other locals and visitors alike - when you spend £150 in Lord St Leven's restaurant and then get a demand with menaces from Lord St Leven's car park it doesn't endear the place!

I would like there to be clear communication. As a local, I am put off by not knowing the parking rules when going to the Godolphin for dinner, when the car park is dark. A light over the machine and the sign shows it is open for business. A sign to say that Godolphin's bays are for hotel guests not diners would clarify things. It is possible to pay on the Justpark app, as I had done twice previously. I didn't know the Godolphin bays were not for diners and parking had to be paid. Needs clarity for visitors and locals alike.
