Although the bridge is closed (hit by a semi in November 2023) to vehicles and pedestrians you can still walk up to it and take photos. Hopefully IDOT will repair it and it will reopen soon. Full review by Ken G

Great place to visit. Good photo op Loved the Red Covered Bridge. Also close by is the Captain Swift Covered Bridge. Although it isn't historical it's still worth seeing Full review by Extraordinary796057

Nice Historic covered bridge. Has recently been repaired and is lovely. It's a good peaceful place to have a picnic or take pictures. We usually go for homecoming and prom pics of our kids and friend… Full review by Angela O
