It's a great service - you can only take a small bag on the train, so just pack essentials. When you check in, identify the bags that are to go to the hotel, and when you get to Kamloops, they will have been delivered to your room. In the morning, repack those, and leave them in the room, and then you collect them when you get to the end of the journey and they will be put on the transport to your final hotel destination.
I will be traveling on the Rocky Mountaineer in September 2024 from Banff to Vancouver. What are the transportation options getting back to Banff after the train trip?
