Is little dog alow go to lighthouse ?

Is there anything else in the area that you could combine a visit to the lighthouse with?
A:
I like marine park which has a train round it, great park, lake and cafe. Seaburn has recently had some investment and roker park is nice too, with some new cafes down next to the pier.

Is there an entrance fee for souter lighthouse?
A:
You also have to pay for the carpark, which I think is around £3.
