Fun atmosphere! Drinks and food were awesome, prices very reasonable and the sunset was amazing--get there early to grab a table to see the sunset. Lots of monkeys around too. Music was great too!!Full review by Susan H

Very casual, fun atmosphere, and great food and drink. Stay an hour for lunch or all afternoon at the beach. Barefoot and bathing suits are fine. No more than shorts and flip flops needed. A must …Full review by James H

Party of 6 in April. Any recommendations on reliable transportation and costs? How much would it cost?

I don’t know how much it would cost you to get there, but be prepared for bad service & getting ripped off on the exchange front if you order anything.
Has the beach been washed away or can you still use it? As our hotel have advised us it has all but gone.

It was a very small black sand beach at the shipwreck. Dated lawn furniture but a treat. there was a rough tide when I was there and did not venture i to the beach.
We are planning on coming here next April.. Can you keep the conch shells? Worth it to bring our snorkeling stuff? (we will already have it w/ us for other excursions on our cruise) Hubs loves monkeys... do they come by you or not really.. Sorry for all the questions!

What is the surf like? Is it a easy to get in and out? Are SUP boards available to rent?

Yes the waves are usually light. There are some rocks near shore or you can go a little further down the beach. If you swim out far enough there is another reef.
Is the Beach bar easily accessible from where a taxi would drop you off? Long walk? Ask for my grandma who will be joining us on our Visit next week to the island. Thanks

Cabs can drive you all the way to where you walk in, my friend uses a walker and we had no trouble
