That's difficult to answer. I would choose Tarangire. We saw more animals in Tarangire than Amboseli. Amboseli was very dry and the water holes/lakes are slowly drying up. Our driver stayed close to the main water source and we didn't see the same variety of animals. Tarangire is more scenic especially if you drive into the interior of the park. Varied topography, lots of elephants, some lions etc. BTW we didn't see many animals in Ngorongoro crater. Again, very dry, the 2 lions we saw looked starved (ribs & hip bones showing clearly) and the rhinos were hiding in the foothills .where the ranger specified roads don't go. Serengeti was amazing thought. Have a great time.

Hi Zuzana, thanks for your update. V hv 2 days at Trangire NP, 1 day lake Manyara. 1 day Gorongoro and 1 day lake Ndutu which was previously eastern extention of Sarangetti NP. It will start of migration season so hope to C the cats. Rest up to now I have been lucky with wildlife in India as have seen tigers, jackals and chinkaras that one can C only if lucky. So hope for the best and thanks for your reply. Is a telense 300mm ok in Africa? In India it worked fine because you see all animals along the road because it is dense forest otherwise. Thanks
