Visiting in January would depend on snow depths. We visited The Temple on Christmas Eve. There was almost no snow on Temple Canyon Road and just a little ice on the trail. The Creek was easily crossable just below the beaver damn which is downstream on Grape Creek of the mouth of the canyon.
