Worth the hike! Beautiful lush green hike to viewing deck and the waterfall. It was pretty muddy so plan your footwear accordingly. Full review by Tgrbait

Well maintained trail. Easy hike. Bathrooms at the parking area need to be serviced. Pay kiosk is out of paper, so no receipt. The falls themselves are small. If you've been to Oregon or Iceland… Full review by Jaclyn L

I hiked at Thunderbird Falls in June of this year (2018). The trail was relatively easy to walk, and it was about a mile each way. It was also a popular hike, but it was not overcrowded. The panoramic view of the waterfall is spectacular. I saw no wildlife when I did this hike, but it is a good idea to be prepared.

A:
I agree with Anthony D. Unless you have ice cleats I wouldn't risk it. That's an accident waiting to happen. In better conditions, I consider this to be a leisure hike. The first climb is the …

I agree with Anthony D. Unless you have ice cleats I wouldn't risk it. That's an accident waiting to happen. In better conditions, I consider this to be a leisure hike. The first climb is the hardest part and it's not even really that hard. Every time I go I always climb down to the waterfall itself and it as breathtaking every time then it was the last. Enjoy!
Q:
Hi, is the place going to be open during the winter? Specifically on 28-30 December 2015?
A:
Should be. It's generally open all year.
