This was one of my favorite hikes. It’s a bit hard because you’re walking on sand and there are rocks sticking out. Some of the rock formations had petroglyphs on them. It was so interesting to see.Full review by TravelingBum52

Not as easy a hike as it once was, as the recent flash floods have scrubbed a lot of sand out of the canyon. The petroglyphs are still wonderful, and Mouse's Tank is still full of tadpoles, but watch…Full review by Jilara

This beautiful mostly sand trail has some nice shade from the afternoon heat. The petroglyphs are close enough for wonderful selfies.Full review by K6565QQpeterc
As the others have said, there is a good trail head with info and bathrooms. The trail is pretty flat and sandy, not too far to the mouse trap. Take your time and enjoy the petroglyphs.
