It's difficult to answer this, because as a sanctuary, we leave the wolves alone to make their own choices, but that said - Fall/Winter is good because the wolves are typically a bit more active and have their beautiful full coats. Particularly in the summer, early morning visits are often better, before it gets too hot. Really any time of year and day is good to get a lot of great information about wolves! Thanks for asking.

The answer above is absolutely right! The Midsummer Night overnight events sell out so quickly that Wolf Haven has to designate a date and time at the beginning of the year (usually March) when the tickets go on sale. We'll post this date on FB, Twitter and our website in early 2020.
Q:

A:
Tickets were only $12 when I attended in March of 2016. There are also senior and student discounts ($10).

First, you get the appoinment. So, you can walk around the park (is a good idea carrying your own food and have a picnic), it's beautiful, and there's a big tree you may visit. When it's time to start the visit, they make a group of visitors and provide a guide that expalin many details of every single wolf. The path is easy, even for aged people, young children or pushchairs. Piece of cake. Have a great experience!
