The Tang Dynasty show is advertised as 163 yuan but when you try buy tickets they are way way more. Is this false advertising? We are on a limited budget.

They don't feed you automatically at the show so you would not have problems with dumplings. Ordering food is extra. We ate outside before the show. Most dumplings are made with wheat flour, unless you source them from some expat that has a specialized business catering to people with Celiac.

Click on the link on the top of this page where it says "website" -- it's the official website and tickets are cheapest there with reliable service. Also note that some tour guides might take you to some other lower quality tang dynasty show. The website one is the original with their own authentic kitchen for good food. And asking hotels will likely be much more expensive and likely to guide you to the wrong show. The theater was packed when we visited so I would recommend booking in advanced. Hope that helps!
