This plantation home was a jewel to tour. We were there on Columbus Day so admission was 'free'. It's very reasonably priced on other days more so than some of the more expensive homes in the area. …Full review by KMW-FL

Good Morning! Natchez, Mississippi is a great place to visit with many tours and attractions. There are quite a few historic homes to visit Longwood is open every day from 9am- 4:30pm, but closed on major holidays, but can be booked for private events. Melrose is open daily from 8:30am - 5:00pm and closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. The William Johnson house is open from 9 am- 5pm daily, and closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. Some of the other historic homes have hours that vary by season, and may be closed due to weddings or scheduled events. Pilgrimage tour hours in late September will sometimes be different. We found the Natchez Welcome Center to be especially helpful. They can also provide information about group tours if you are interested. On a side note, we were in Natchez in mid-September and we wanted to eat at Kings Tavern on Tuesday evening,. When we arrived, we found it closed. The manager just happened to be coming out of the restaurant and told us they had just started their off season hours which would be Thursday- Saturday. It was well worth the wait, and the meal was delicious. So, hours may vary a little from those posted. Natchez Under the Hill was great. Also, Frogmore Plantation had similar hours, but I am not sure if it is open 7 days a week. It is well worth the drive to visit! I hope this was helpful . We had an awesome trip to Natchez. Enjoy your visit!
