This ship was in the D-day invasion and it is a great tour. The museum is top shelf. I think we enjoyed it much better than the WWII museum in New Orleans.Full review by Carl S

Although the emphasis is on Muskegon area crew members, the museum and memorabilia are very comprehensive and detailed. I would be surprised if you were unable to find some mention or reference to you dad's service. Good luck!
Yes. A nominal fee adults $8-$10; children $5.00. You get a guidebook full of info as well as access throughout the entire ship and you can spend as long as you want.
