This is where we spent all of our time while we were around this picturesque area. Lots of narrow streets, lots of place to eat and drink and quite a few places selling souvenirs. Stone houses and …Full review by Thomas V

Probably the most picturesque old town we visited in all Croatia. Make sure you walk uphill through all the small streets toward the church of St Euphemia.Full review by mksmthomas

Early June is usually a good time to visit Rovinj. The temperature should be around 25oC and about 15oC in the morning. That is, if there is no disturbance. (There can be windy periods, lasting up to three days). Do not expect to be swimming a lot, because the sea is usually still cold at that time of the year.
What is the weather likely to be towards the end of September? Thanking you in advance JENNY

Rovinj or Dubrovnik? We love good quality food and wines ideally local atmosphere and not too touristy. we can’t decide which would be most suited as don’t know if anyone whom has been to Rovinj

We spent several really wonderful days in Rovinj staying in the Old Town. Perhaps because of the time of year we were there, mid-October, it was not too touristy we didn't think. There are some very good restaurants including one restaurant with one Michelin star. The restaurants we visited did have very good wines, but we were mostly ordering Italian (Collio region) wines. We highly recommend Rovinj as a destination. We have not been to Dubrovnik, so no help there, I'm afraid.
