Carnival’s vegan menu has more in common with the standard dinner menu than you might think, with the caveat that all of the proteins it features are plant-based. For example, there was a shrimp cocktail and Caesar salad on Heald’s vegan menu, but with some crucial ingredient substitutions.

From the varying experiences that passengers shared, it seems that Carnival doesn’t have one specific thing that it does to celebrate passengers’ birthdays. It’s easy to see though that crew members are eager to go out of their way to help make the day special when they know a passenger is celebrating a special occasion on board.

Although there will always be people who like to complain, this huge change has been met with major approval from the cruise line’s passengers.

Carnival Cruise Line will officially open Celebration Key, its private island destination in Grand Bahama, on July 19. Carnival Vista will make the inaugural call to the island in five months’ time.

The cruise line’s brand ambassador asked passengers to share their opinions on the most challenging jobs aboard its ships.
