The Eagles have donated $2.5 million to the upcoming FireAid benefit concert in Los Angeles, scheduled for Jan. 30.

Dozens of “big-name artists and bands” are vying for one of the limited spots in the upcoming FireAid benefit concert for victims of the deadly wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles over the past week.

The Eagles kick-started donations for FireAid, a benefit concert to help victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. The group — which includes country singer Vince Gill — promised $2.5 million to efforts to rebuild Los Angeles and prevent similar events in the future. It's not clear if the band will perform.

Intuit Dome will host a benefit show dedicated to rebuilding communities devastated by the fires and supporting efforts to prevent future disasters throughout Southern California. FireAid, an evening of music and solidarity, will take place Jan. 30 at the newly opened Inglewood venue, with performers and ticket information to be announced soon.

The group is managed by Irving Azoff, who is spearheading the Jan. 30 Intuit Dome show.
