'Hands Off!' protests against Trump policies, tariffs across Southern California
Thousands are expected to gather across Southern California for "Hands Off!" demonstrations against Trump's tariffs, program cuts, and federal worker layoffs, which protesters claim harm public services and social safety nets.
The arrest comes after three others, including two 16-year-olds, were charged in suspicion of stealing a patrol vehicle in the demonstration.
Footage showed the accused boy discussing throwing fireworks at officers during the protest that drew hundreds and led to other arrests, police said.
