The veteran cable news anchor and host of "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" said on Thursday night that he is "exhausted" by the president's return to the White House and that he will be taking next week off for some much needed rest and relaxation.

That is the reality for MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell, who announced that he is stepping away after 50 days of covering the president and his administration after claiming he is “exhausted.”

MSNBC‘s Lawrence O’Donnell said he is already tired from covering the Trump administration and will be taking a weeklong break to recover properly. The host of The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell made the announcement during an appearance at the end of The Rachel Maddow Show on Wednesday night.
