Swansea City head coach Luke Williams says he has moved on from speculation linking him to West Bromwich Albion.

Joe Allen's late header cancelled out Tom Fellows' breakthrough for managerless Albion to cap a week in which 43-year-old Williams was linked with the vacant Hawthorns post - though it is understood he is not in the frame to take over.

Williams will face the media ahead of Saturday's clash with West Brom having been heavily linked with the vacant manager's role at the Hawthorns. The 43-year-old had been favourite with bookmakers to take charge of the Baggies following Carlos Corberan's switch to Spanish side Valencia in December.

Williams issued an apology to Swansea supporters during his pre-West Brom press conference, claiming he laughed off the links because he didn't think they were serious and insisted there was nothing in them, but also understood fans' grievances for the manner in which he responded to questions over his future.

However, Wales Online have reported that West Brom have not made any contact with Williams or his representatives, and while Williams played down links with the Baggies in the aftermath of his side's win over Luton Town, he failed to categorically rule out a move to The Hawthorns.
