Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow are in talks to reprise their roles in a sequel to Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the pair will return as the titular Romy and Michele and serve as executive producers.

Robin Schiff, who wrote the original and is known for showrunning the Neflix hit Emily in Paris, returned to pen the sequel. Laurence Marks, the veteran producer who produced the original, is also back in same role. Barry Kemp, the creator of 1980s series Newhart, is also producing.
