Morgan State University led a two-day national conference at the downtown Marriott where campus leaders discussed ways to protect students and staff from gun violence.

Morgan State University's Center for Urban Violence and Crime Reduction is focusing on campus gun violence. The university gathered national leaders for a two-day meeting this week. Between 2013 and 2023, there have been more than 300 gun violence incidents on college campuses across 42 states and Washington, D.C.
