A jury found a 27-year-old man guilty of first-degree premeditated murder in the 2021 fatal shooting of a man on Charlotte Avenue. The jury deliberated for three hours before convicting Ralph Nevels Jr.

Nevels chased Ontiveros in a vehicle along Charlotte Avenue before firing several rounds at the victim’s car, killing him.
