Per his Instagram, former Auburn quarterback Walker White has announced that he is transferring to Baylor after spending his freshman season on the Plains. The announcement comes two weeks after Hank Brown announced his intent to transfer to Iowa.

Former Auburn Tigers quarterback Walker White has found a new home, committing to Baylor. White announced his decision with a post on his Instagram. White was redshirted his first year in college so he still has four years of eligibility remaining.

White was one of three Auburn quarterbacks to enter the transfer portal after the season, and the second to find a new home. With White, Payton Thorne, Hank Brown and Holden Geriner all gone, Hugh Freeze will be working with an entirely new group of scholarship quarterbacks.

According to 247Sports, White was the No. 5 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting cycle and Auburn’s fifth-highest-rated signee of the class behind players such as wide receiver Cam Coleman and linebacker Demarcus Riddick.

Former Auburn QB Walker White entered the portal after a single season on the Plains, and now will head to the Big 12 to play at Baylor.

Walker White announced his transfer decision Saturday, committing to Baylor after one season at Auburn. White hit the portal on Dec. 14, becoming the 10th transfer to commit to Dave Aranda’s program this offseason.
