Florida’s Aleksander Barkov scored a power-play goal only 28 seconds into overtime, giving the Panthers a 1-0 win before 16,757 in Nationwide Arena and sending the Blue Jackets to their fifth straight loss. Incredibly, they’ve been shut out in three of those losses.
The Blue Jackets scored three-straight goals to tie the game 3-3 but the Canucks bounced back to take a 5-3 lead in the third period. They couldn’t hold that multi-goal lead either, again giving up three-straight goals to fall behind 6-5.
