When the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles square off on Sunday, it'll mark the fourth straight season in which the colors of the Super Bowl logo happen to match at least one of the teams playing.

For the first two years of the new generation of Super Bowl logos, the colors on the logo have lined up with the game’s eventual matchup — Bengals vs. Rams and then Chiefs vs. Eagles. That streak only ended last season when the Ravens lost to the Chiefs in AFC title game, but we came awfully close to three in a row.

The upcoming Chiefs-Eagles Super Bowl has added fuel to the fire of a popular NFL conspiracy involving the colors in the logo.
