The Golden State Warriors and head coach Steve Kerr are in an interesting predicament. The 19-20 record doesn’t look promising, but it’s not concerning to management. For instance, Kerr echoed Warriors’ guard Stephen Curry and forward Draymond Green on mortgaging the future.

As the Golden State Warriors continue to flounder this year, trading Stephen Curry seems more and more like a realistic option, and Steve Kerr gave his two cents.

As such, the lack of All-Star-level talent, especially in their prime, has become a glaring hole in the Warriors' roster construction. Right now, they have young and developing players who could become stars and two aging veterans hoping to continue challenging during the twilight of their careers.
