A brand of ground coffee sold in 15 states, including North Carolina, is under recall. "Our Family foods" recalled more than 4,000 of its 12-ounce packages, which are improperly labeled as decaf coffee. The ongoing recall affects "Traverse City Cherry Flavored Decaf Light Roast Ground Coffee."

SAN FRANCISCO — Massimo Zanetti Beverage USA recalled thousands of bags of Our Family Traverse City Ground Coffee across the U.S. due to a mislabeling, according to the Food and Drug Administration. The recall says bags of Cherry Artificially Flavored Decaf Light Roast Ground Coffee was labeled decaf, but is actually caffeinated.

Coffee lovers will need to double-check the label of their favorite morning pick-me-up beverage.
