Consumers Energy expects power to be restored in the region by Tuesday, April 1, for most affected areas and by Wednesday, April 2, for zones hit hardest by Sunday’s storms.

In Kalamazoo County, about 6% of customers (7,250) are without power as of 10:43 a.m., according to the Consumers Energy outage map. As of 6 p.m Sunday, more than 27,000 customers were without power.
