The NHL announced two surprising scoring changes following the Philadelphia Flyers' 7–4 victory over the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. Those two changes altered details on goals and assists credited during the game,

Jack Quinn (12th) trimmed the Flyers' lead to 2-1 at 10:57. JJ Peterka won a puck battle along the left side boards with Nic Deslauriers. From the slot, Quinn beat Samuel Ersson through the five-hole. The assists went to Peterka and Ryan McLeod.

After going through a coaching change 10 hours before puck drop, the Flyers responded with a 6-4 win Thursday night over the Canadiens at the Wells Fargo Center.
