They bought into the property shortly after it was developed by renowned Art Deco architect and builder ... which shared an entrance with the Gershwin Theater on West 51st Street.
When it opened in 1972, the then Uris Theatre was the first large Broadway ... the venue was renamed after famed composer George Gershwin.
