Dragon Ball is home to some of the most iconic transformations in history, but some of its best aren't even canon.

Dragon Ball Daima returning Super Saiyan 4 to canon status has been a dream come true for fans, and its updated look is absolutely perfect.

For years, Super Saiyan 4 existed in a limbo, beloved by fans but not recognized as part of the official timeline established by Toriyama's original works and the subsequent "Dragon Ball Super" series. However, the landscape of Dragon Ball canon has shifted with "Dragon Ball Daima," the latest iteration in the franchise.

In Dragon Ball Daima’s Episode 18, Goku transforms into his Super Saiyan 4 form with Neva’s magical powers to defeat King Gomah. This marks SS4 being canon as Toriyama has produced Daima.

Adult Vegeta surprises fans by transforming into Super Saiyan 3 in Dragon Ball Daima Episode 19. Vegeta may potentially turn into Super Saiyan 4 in Episode 20 with the help of Neva's magic. The upcoming episode 20, scheduled for February 28, will be the series finale of Dragon Ball Daima.

At present, Daima has yet to officially call this new form “Super Saiyan 4” but the penultimate installment all but confirms this fact. Mimicking the reveal of Super Saiyan 3, the adult Goku wields the power in his fight against Gomah which is one that is sure to shake the Demon Realm to its core.

Dragon Ball DAIMA is not shying away from its connections to GT and is instead using it to make the anime much better.
