A Canadian man has been arrested by Indian authorities at the New Delhi’s airport after a crocodile skull was found in his luggage.

A 32-year-old Canadian was detained at Delhi airport for attempting to transport a crocodile skull. The animal belonged to a protected species, as confirmed by customs officials and experts from the Department of Forests and Wildlife.

According to the Pakistani analyst, India’s “courting of the Taliban regime appears to be working.” He pointed to a statement issued by the Taliban’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs hours after the Dubai meeting, which spoke of Muttaqi’s “desire of strengthening political & economic relations with India as a key regional and economic player.”
