Miriam Main, a trustee and PR director of the British arm of La Leche League (LLL), announced that she would leave the organisation over the policy, which allows trans women to join classes.
The HSE recommends women breastfeed their babies if possible as it “protects your baby against lots of illnesses and conditions”.
