To add insult to injury, New York's Josh Hart was assessed a $2,000 postgame flopping fine by the NBA on Monday.

They are 0-7 against the top three teams in the NBA and are in danger of falling in the standings. Furthermore, as if their loss to the Celtics was not bad enough on its own, one of their players received a punishment from the league that was announced after the game.

After the Eastern Conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers thumped New York by 37 points Friday night, the defending champion Boston Celtics pulled out their third double-digit win of the season over the Knicks with a 118-105 victory in Boston on Sunday.
