When Matt Rhule coached in the NFL, he had to get his Carolina Panthers roster from 90 players to 53 by the start of the regular season. Now, like many coaches around college football, he’s preparing for something similar at Nebraska – and he’s pulling from that NFL experience.

The offseason is a time for teams to do what they can to get healthy and ready for the next season. The Nebraska Cornhuskers are no different, with several players currently recovering from surgeries.
